Moving with spring: a seasonal qigong workshop

Saturday 30th March 2019 at Wytham Village Hall, OX2 8QA

A day to unfold into the season of spring with gentle movement and breath, close to nature. We will move with forms designed to support the body in the shift into spring, as well as practicing the flowing and strengthening movements of Sets 1 and 2 of Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi. This workshop is suitable for those with some experience of qigong and Shibashi Sets 1 and 2.

Growth unfolds from rest and replenished reserves of energy

This workshop offers nourishing movement with Tai Chi Qigong Shibashi. Alongside these, there will be qigong to support the body’s specific needs in springtime according to the traditional system of the Five Phases, as well as space to be with the ways you feel the seasonal change moving in you. You are free to join for one or both parts of the workshop, and to stay on (or arrive early) for lunch and a quiet walk in woodland.

Part 1   10am-12.40pm
